How to convice parents to go to spring break?

A couple friends from college are planning to go to Cancun for spring break and want me to come. It seems like it would be fun but I doubt my parents would be onboard for it. I mean, I could pay for it all but I could still see them saying ‘no, you’re not going’…. what can I do so I can go?

Tell them you will call every day, and that it means alot to you. That it is your reward for being such a great kid! If they FEEL like they are still in charge they will let you go. Don’t make them answer immediately.

You should have told them you’re going, not ask them.
Either way, if they don’t want you to go, you should ask them for a good reason why. Tell them not to worry about you doing anything stupid (even if you were planning to). Jump to conclusions, give them a scenario and tell them that you weren’t even planning to do anything like that.
