What is a fair tip in the Caribbean?

going to the caribbean for my honeymoon in june most likely in the maya riviera. first time going i was wonder how much is a fair tip to give for example waiters, maids, bar tenders, room service also should i tip in US dollars or mexican

    It’s best to use US because their dollar does not fluctuate too much.

    Tip $3 US.. more if the service was excellent. Don’t give more than $7 US.
