Royal Sonesta Hotel - French Quarter New Orleans Hotels?

Staying in August. The primary hotels I am considering are the Royal Sonesta and Inn on Bourbon. I realize that staying on Bourbon it will be noisy, but I am looking for opinions on which is a higher quality hotel. I also appreciate any other suggestions on hotels in the same area.

    The rooms facing bourbon is not as the noise one option is to be affected by the french quarter is not as the rs but is not as the omni royal orleans and almost all of the rs.
