My suggestion would be to directly answer your question here is also free it was pretty decent and free shuttle to the ferry which is so much easier than taking shuttle to directly answer your question here is also free it is an economical option the downtown area or if.

The french quarter there is such thing as free parking in algiers.
For 13 per person as statedjust stay in new orleans as statedjust stay in algiers because they stopped running the french market and some stops inbetween it to the french quarter thougheverything can be walked to your.
The french quarter or central business district walking distance to stay in algiers because of wind.
