    Please be aware that Santa Claus and reindeer Rudolph could seem “foreign” to Russians. In Russia, there is Grandfather Frost, who doesn’t use reindeers and is not identical to Santa (though he also brings presents)

    (Note that Rudolph is not well-known to Germans)

    Joy to the world - Freue dich, Welt! (This is the “official” translation in German of the “Joy to the world” song by Händel)

    Santa Claus is coming to town - Der Weihnachtsmann kommt in die Stadt (or better just “Der Weihnachtsmann kommt”)
