my family travels every year to a new place, usually something tropical with nice beaches. We tend to go for 4-5 stars. We have been places like Varadero, Punta Cana, Mayan Riviera, Puerto Plata. But I was wondering if anyone would recommend a nice place to go to if they have had a good experiance there (not hotel just the place, and we arent going on vacation but I was trying to think of somewhere we could go, we cant afford Hawaii)
I meant I didn’t ask this question because we are going on a vacation anytime soon, but usually keep places in mind for when we do decide to go away.

Flights from Canada to Paris are overnight. It’s unlikely that I’ll be able to sleep on the plane (it will be my first flight). Upon arrival, I will be very, very tired and will want to have a snooze at the hotel. It should be early to mid-morning in France then, so I was wondering what the chances are of my being able to check in right away? Where I live, it’s usually only possible to check in by early afternoon, but since Paris is a top tourist destination and flights coming from Canada and probably the US also are overnight, do they accomodate the need to sleep?
