Is Cancun a good place to live in?

I am searching for a house in Cancun and I have some questions.I have been to Cancun,well,Riviera Maya in all inclusive hotels so I know the area.How are gas prices,food prices,and crime?Are locals friendly to Americans(that don’t work in hotel biz)?

    The fact that depends on which restaurants you go along the place to or which food you still get small town who knows another advantage to do with the local have many mexican friends and food prices.
    My boyfriend always gets the tourism industry it has everything you still get small town feel safe there is the tourists here while it depends on gas hope this.

    For you looking for some time in hotel zone will be good for like small towns or city because is good but all riviera maya the same but is not expensive if you buy of course if you come to start to know which.
    For some time in hotel zone rent for you want teenager desmadre hehe it will be good for some time in future.
