Cancun All Inclusive Hotel opinions?

Going to Cancun soon with family (including 2 teenagers) and thinking about all inclusive properties. Leaning toward RIU Caribe or Royal Solaris closer to Cancun. Also Allegro or Occidental Xcaret closer to Playa Carmen. Not looking to go “top of the line”, but don’t want to scrape the bottom either. Any opinions….I know Riviera Maya/Playa del Carmen are further, is it worth the hour drive from the airport, etc? Thanks!

We stayed at the Riu Cancun last summer and it was very nice. There were several families with children and teens there. It was a great place, and we liked being right in Cancun.
But I’ve heard great things about Playa and hope to go there sometime too.

The money you pay and its about 20 min drive from the gran caribe real as hotel was there about 20 min drive from the airport and that place is beautiful its worth the gran caribe real as hotel was.
